Tyler Drive Technology System

We are excited to share with you information about the expansion of our Tyler Drive transportation technology that was installed on all our school buses early this year. With the simple “swipe of an ID card”, the software will allow the district to be able to monitor student ridership on each bus. Tyler Drive systems include GPS software, a mobile data terminal and an ID card reader on each school bus. Our bus drivers will have turn-by-turn directions at each stop, and this is a great safety feature for our substitute bus drivers.

Traversa Ride 360 App

Another great safety feature is the Traversa Ride 360 App, which is designed specifically for parents/guardians and can be used from your phone anywhere. This safety feature will allow only authorized users to monitor the bus if they experience any delays and will tell you the exact time the bus will arrive at a specific bus stop. This program is encrypted and designed so only parents/guardians and school personnel will have access to view. We will be piloting the Traversa Ride 360 App this summer with our camp riders and then fully implementing it next September for the 2024-25 school year for all families. The feedback we received from other districts using the App has been positive, and we believe this will be a beneficial tool for our school community.
